American Crow
These ones were enjoying some Mission BBQ right out of the dumpster! You’ll find them all over,
from urban to rural. These are the ones that make the classic "CAW!" sound, and will often be found in flocks together.
If you hear a crow that sounds like it inhaled helium, and you're on the east coast (USA), it's probably a "fish crow".
House Sparrow
Most of the time when you see a small brown bird in the US, it's a house sparrow. They shift through shades of brown as they molt throughout the years. Believe it or not, these little guys use their
notched beaks to kill other small birds and take over their nests... yikes!
